Sarah teaches legal research and writing to JD and international students at Wake Forest University School of Law and is an affiliate of Wake’s Center for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability. In the summer, she teaches an asynchronous animal law course to students at the University of Houston Law Center.

Sarah has also developed courses on food and agricultural law and environmental justice. Her broad teaching experience has made Sarah an expert on experiential education, classroom instruction, course design, and evaluation.

  • Individual and organizational support

In addition to her academic teaching, Sarah has performed legal research for Farm Commons, an organization that provides legal resources to farmers and ranchers, and served as a writing consultant for the law firm Womble, Bond, and Dickinson.

Sarah is an encouraging guide and coach, whether she is working with students or lawyers, and displays a passion for thoughtful analysis and engaging text. She welcomes hearing from individuals looking to improve their writing or organizations in need of additional research or writing support. Feel free to connect.
